She completed her B.Com, qualified as a Company Secretary and later earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing from IMT Ghaziabad.
Graduating during a difficult job market after the September 11 attacks, she persisted and began her career in corporate finance in Delhi.
In Delhi, Meghna met Rishi Das, who would later become her business partner and husband. After their marriage, they co-founded HirePro Consulting, a recruitment process outsourcing firm.
During the IT boom of the early 2000s, HirePro and associated talent sourcing businesses grew alongside India’s expanding technology services ecosystem.
By 2014, as some of their businesses were shifting offices in Bengaluru, Meghna and her team sub-leased excess space in the building they occupied. They noticed that startups and offshore development centres were looking not only for desks but also for services like cafeterias, transport and meeting rooms, amenities usually found only in large leased offices.
This demand highlighted a clear gap in the commercial real estate market for managed office spaces that are both flexible and service-driven.
In 2015, Meghna and Rishi leased their first building of around 150,000 sq ft in Bellandur, Bengaluru, named Alpha. Despite being new to the space, the building was fully occupied within six months. This validated the market need and laid the foundation for IndiQube.
Under Meghna’s leadership, IndiQube expanded from a single building to over 120 centres across cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and several tier 2 markets. The client base grew from startups to large global capability centres and multinational corporations requiring enterprise workspace solutions.
The company’s financial performance reflects its strong business model. In Q1 FY26, IndiQube’s revenue rose 28 percent year on year to ₹313 crore, while adjusted cash earnings before interest and tax increased to ₹52 crore from ₹28 crore in the previous year.
Although many expected the pandemic to negatively affect flexible workspaces, Meghna observed the opposite. The uncertainty increased demand for flexibility, strengthening IndiQube’s position in the market.
IndiQube’s offerings have evolved significantly over time. The company now provides a wide range of services, including design and build office solutions, facility management, food and transport, and technology-enabled real estate support. This integrated approach positions IndiQube as a complete workspace solutions provider for enterprises of all sizes.
As India’s flexible workspace market continues to grow, IndiQube remains focused on expanding across major cities and emerging markets. The company is also enhancing its technology layer, including tools such as the MiQube app, to improve the overall workspace experience.
